Most Important Moving-Off Point

Before moving away from the side of the road, check your mirrors, then check the blind spot over your right shoulder and wait for a clear gap. This is a high-risk moment because a cyclist, motorbike, or car can be hidden where your mirrors do not show clearly.

You do not need a blind spot check for every normal left or right turn. You need it for higher-risk position changes, such as moving off, changing lanes, or moving out around an obstruction.
