What This Helps With

Crossroads add an extra road and more possible movement. The skill is to slow down and work out who can go.

The Simple Version

Check all directions. If turning right, give way to oncoming traffic unless a filter arrow or layout clearly tells you otherwise.

Common Mistakes

  • Thinking green always means you can turn right immediately.
  • Not moving forward to wait when appropriate.
  • Waving or flashing others through.
  • Entering a yellow box when the exit is blocked.

They want you to understand priority and avoid pressuring other drivers or blocking the junction.
