Reverse bay parking tests slow reversing, steering timing, and observation while the car moves backwards.
The Simple Version
Start slowly, use the reference point, keep looking around, and stop to correct if the angle goes wrong.
Correction Rule
Reference points are a guide, not a guarantee. If the car is drifting across the bay line, stop first, check all around, move forward to improve the angle, then reverse again slowly. A calm correction is much better than forcing a bad attempt to the end.
Common Mistakes
- Reversing too fast.
- Not looking behind enough.
- Trying to finish a bad angle without correcting.
